Crow, Shields & Bailey, P.C. had its beginnings in 1986 under the name J. K. Crow & Associates. In 1991, Kenny Crow and John Shields merged their individual practices to form Crow & Shields, PC. Prior to starting his own public accounting practice, John Shields had spent his early career as a tax specialist with Ernst & Young as well as Mobile's First Securities Company. Kenny Crow started his career with a national firm, Pannell Kerr Forster, focusing primarily on audit and taxation.

In 1996, after spending 9 years as an auditor at a large Mobile firm, Joey Bailey joined the firm and became a partner in 1998, heading up the accounting and auditing departments.

Regina L. McKellar became the firm's fourth partner in 2000. Her experience in corporate and small business taxation has helped CS&B become a premier source of tax advise for small and mid-sized businesses in the Mobile area.

In 2006, E. Gray McDermott became a partner in the firm and was previously a partner at McDermott & Headrick. He merged his practice with CSB and specializes in audits and attestation as well as both corporate and individual taxation.

In addition to tax, bookkeeping, and audit & assurance services, CS&B provides its clients with services in the areas of business development, business valuation, and litigation support.

The Firm employs a talented team of over 20 professionals, including seven CPAs. three CFPs, and one Certified Business Valuation Analyst (Regina L. McKellar).
