Joey Bailey, CPA

Personal: Joey is married to Connie Smith Bailey and has three children: Michael, Mary Catherine, and Scott. He enjoys kayaking and golfing in his spare time.

Fun Fact: Joey was 8 hours and 35 minutes away from being a leap year baby.

Kristi Daughtery, CPA

Personal: Kristi is married to Brian Daughtery and mother to Jonah, Jamison, and Anna Collins. Her hobbies include anything and everything with her children, being outdoors, and spending time with family at the beach.

Personal: Andrew is a Huntsville native married to Jenny Speir of Fairhope. Andrew and Jenny reside in Fairhope with their son Win and their daughter Annie. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys weekends at the hunting camp or on the water, cooking on his Big Green Egg, and spending time with family and friends. He and Jenny also enjoy trying new restaurants around Fairhope, now that they are residents there!

Fun Fact: Andrew is a Dead Head and tries to see Dead & Company at least once a year.

Kenny Crow, III, CPA

Specialties: Specialization in audit services include real estate, construction, manufacturing and distribution, nonprofits, and employee benefit services industries. Specialization in tax services include high net-worth individuals, partnerships, and corporate tax returns.

Fun Fact: Kenny spent 6 and a half years working in Birmingham, AL for the assurance practice of RSM US LLP, which is the firm that Crow Shields Bailey PC is an alliance member of.

Sherri Deighton, CPA

Personal: Sherri is married to Joseph Deighton and mother to Jacob and Timothy Deighton. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with family.

Fun Fact: In Sherri’s sophomore year of college, she lived on a co-ed floor. Her RA (resident advisor) ended up being her future husband.

 

Teresa Ernest, CPA

Specialties: Preparation and supervision of personal, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and nonprofit tax returns; specializing in tax planning and preparation for high net worth clients and preparation of nonprofit information returns.

“I enjoy the long-term relationships I have with the clients I work with at CSB. I get a lot of satisfaction from working with individuals along with their family members and business enterprises and helping them achieve their long-term goals. Personal: Teresa is married to Walter Ernest, IV and mother to Elizabeth and Caroline Ernest. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her pets.

Fun Fact: Being such an accountant and planner, Teresa’s first child was born on her due date.

Personal: Colleen is married to Maarten van der Giessen. She spends time hiking, gardening, reading, rescuing animals (currently cares for two dogs and five cats), and working as controller for her family business of Van Der Giessen Nursery, Inc.

Fun Fact: Colleen was born in Montreal, Canada and has been heading south ever since!

Personal: Kirsten is married to Sim Sokom and mother to Nathan and Lena. In her free time she enjoys traveling and hiking.

Fun Fact: Growing up, Kirsten swam competitively. She has swam with several local clubs, including Lake Forest, Fairhope Area Swim Team, and BMAC. Kirsten has also worked as a lifeguard and taught children’s swimming lessons.

Lori Blum, EA

Fun Fact: I once spent four hours with friends fighting a sailfish in our kayaks in Navarre, Florida. When we landed the sailfish, we were five miles offshore.

Zhanna McPhaill, CPA, CFE

Abby Roveda, CPA

Specialties: Audit, review, and compilation services for non-public companies; audits of employee benefit plans. Abby also assists clients with business valuation services and consulting. She is also heavily involved in on-campus recruiting.

Personal: Abby is married to David Roveda and they have a son (George) and a daughter (Jo). Abby began her career in Mobile but currently works remotely from Birmingham, Alabama while her husband finishes his medical residency training at UAB. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and listening to true crime podcasts.

Fun Fact: Abby created an Amazing Race scavenger hunt for the entire office as part of our 2018 CSB Team Retreat with the help of her husband. The race led 6 CSB teams through the streets of downtown Mobile, solving clues and completing tasks in order to be the first to finish. Abby credits her and her husband’s love of bad reality television and board games for the success of the race.

Community Involvement: I get opportunities to support my community through my church: Jubilee Shores United Methodist in Fairhope! JSUMC allows me to help Ecumenical Ministries through fun events like the annual Turkey Trot or Chili Cook-Off, feed AHEPA residents through Soup for the Soul, and volunteer for Vacation Bible School

Personal: I enjoy golfing, sushi, trivia, and watching the Boston Red Sox! My favorite thing to do is plan trips to new places with my family and friends. I love exploring a new city and finding the best places to eat and seeing any historical areas.

Fun Fact: For my college graduation gift, I got to golf with my dad on the most beautiful golf course in Jamaica called Cinnamon Hills.

Personal: Robin has two children, a son (Rusty) and a daughter (Lakyn). She enjoys spending her free time either outside in her yard or on the water. She also enjoys crafting, watching Nascar, and watching Alabama football.

Fun Fact: Robin was a member of the Tanner Williams Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years and worked as an emergency dispatcher for the City of Mobile Fire Department. She became a certified fireman through the Alabama State Fire College!

 

Jennifer Lowe

Personal: Jennifer just moved to Daphne from Ohio in June of 2021. She has been happily married for 2 years. She has 2 adult children: a step-son and a daughter, both of whom live in Ohio still, and a son who is a sophomore at Daphne high school. Jennifer loves to travel, kayak, is a huge book nerd, and loves all genres of music.

Fun Fact: Jennifer has attended over 50 concerts and seen 150 music artist live! She has met Jason Aldean and had breakfast with the Swan Brothers.

Georgiana Patrasc

Personal:
Joseph is a Gulf Shores native. He enjoys the beach, board sports like snowboarding and wakeboarding, and any competitve game like Basketball, Football, Ping-Pong, etc. Joseph’s faith, family, and friends are the most important things in his life. In his spare time, Joseph likes to cook, play trumpet, and work on small home improvement projects.

Fun Fact:
Joseph was in the Gulf Shores Marching Band when they interrupted Rascall Flatt’s set by marching out while playing their fight song. This was part of an elaborate prank war that was ongoing between Rascall Flatts and Darius Rucker while they were touring together. Rascall Flatts had previously released a herd of goats on stage during Rucker’s performance.

Kay Reed

Fun Fact: Deborah grew up on a farm and was in several horse shows with her Quarter Horse “Gal.”

Fun Fact: Britney has lived in four states in two years, loves Ethiopian food, and is distantly related to Don Miguel Eslava, the founder of Mobile, and Robert Lister, who inspired Listerine.

Fun Fact: As a child, Diana won a state competition in 4-H on the campus of Auburn University doing a Meats Illustrated Talk (information on beef and nutrition).

Personal: Margaret is married to Robbie Murray and they have 3 daughters: Ann Stewart, Margaret, and Virginia. She loves going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Fun Fact: Margaret once met Prince Philip at a fundraiser luncheon she attended in the Bahamas!

Personal: Emilee enjoys adventures with her son Finn, playing musical instruments and singing, exploring outdoors, supporting and promoting local artists and musicians, blacksmithing, writing, creating art and jewelry, and spending time with friends and family.

Fun Fact: Emilee has been to hundreds of concerts and music festivals, and still has a ticket stub, wrist band, T-shirt, or schedule from each one.
